Biography
Andrew Felker was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 1993 after receiving his B.A. (Honours) from York University, and his LL.B. from Queen’s University at Kingston. He articled with Walker, Head, and is now a partner in the firm.
Andrew is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in Estates and Trusts Law, and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Andrew represents Individuals, Executors, Attorneys under a Power of Attorney, and Beneficiaries in the following areas:
- Wills and Trust Drafting, including provisions for disabled beneficiaries
- Powers of Attorney
- Mental Incapacity
- Estate Administration
- Wills and Estate Challenges
- Will Interpretations
- Dependant Support Applications
- Contested Passing of Accounts
Andrew frequently speaks in the local community on Wills and Estates issues, and has presented papers at both the Law Society of Upper Canada and at the Ontario Bar Association.
