Krista is an Associate practicing exclusively in the area of family law. Krista is passionate about family law and seeks to achieve sustainable resolutions for clients and their families during their difficult transitions. She has experience in the preparation of domestic contracts, such as Marriage Contracts and Separation Agreements, as well as appearing in Family Court. Krista encourages her clients to explore alternate dispute resolution methods like negotiation and mediation, however, she is also prepared to litigate in court should the need arise. Krista has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice.
Krista was born and raised in Pickering. Before moving to Australia for law school, she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Studies and Global Development from Queen’s University in 2015.
She completed her Juris Doctor, with a specialization in Canadian Law and Practice, at Bond University on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Krista articled with Walker Head and became an associate with the firm upon her Call to the Bar in May 2021. Krista is a member of the Durham Region Law Association.
Aside from her professional achievements, Krista’s biggest accomplishment is becoming a mom. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, travelling, and mountaineering (having summited 3 of the 7 summits).
