Tim is an Associate family law lawyer with a background in employment and civil litigation. Tim articled with Walker Head Lawyers, having completed rotations in the Employment and Civil Litigation and Family Law Departments. He joined the firm upon his call to the Bar in 2022.
Tim has a Bachelor of Science (Hon. Psychology and Minor in Biology) from the University of Waterloo, and received his Juris Doctor from Western Law. During law school, Tim was involved with the Community Legal Services Family Law Team, Pro Bono Students Canada projects, and participated in moots in various areas of law. Prior to joining Walker Head Lawyers, Tim summered at the Family Responsibility Office (FRO) with the Ministry of the Attorney General, where he gained research, drafting, and litigation experience. Prior to law school, Tim worked as an English Language Instructor and Head Teacher at a private English academy in South Korea.
Outside of his legal practice, Tim is engaged in the community through his service as a Board Member with the Durham Association for Family Resources and Support. In his personal time, Tim enjoys running in marathons, cooking, and playing golf.
