Vanessa is a dedicated and accomplished Real Estate Associate and joined the firm in March 2024. She specializes in residential real estate law, closing an impressive average of 50 transactions monthly, including title transfers, refinances, purchases, and sales. Vanessa’s unwavering commitment to excellence is reflected in her meticulous due diligence, client-centered approach, and steadfast adherence to the principles of integrity and professionalism.
Vanessa’s academic journey began at the University of Toronto, where she earned her Bachelor of Commerce in 2009. She later pursued her legal education abroad, obtaining her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Birmingham in the UK. Vanessa was called to the Bar in June 2015, marking the beginning of her legal career.
In addition to her thriving practice, Vanessa has been a mentor and assessor with the Law Practice Program (LPP) at Toronto Metropolitan University since 2021. There, she guides aspiring lawyers, sharing her expertise, and providing invaluable mentorship to shape the next generation of legal professionals.
Vanessa is also an active member of her professional community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Durham Region Law Association. Her contributions to the legal field have been recognized in the Precedent Law Magazine, further cementing her reputation as a leader in the profession.
Outside of her legal career, Vanessa enjoys traveling and always has her next adventure in the works before completing her current journey. A fitness enthusiast, she kicks off her mornings with invigorating boot camps, and she cherishes time with her family. Adding a unique touch to her varied skills, Vanessa is also a certified Wedding Planner.
