Estate Administration:
- Assisting Estate Trustees with the administration of Estates – from the initial identification and redemption of assets, to assisting with the payment of debts, to coordinating with tax professionals, and to reporting to beneficiaries.
- Probate Applications (with or without a Will), including re-sealing out-of-province Probate Grants, and Applications for Succeeding Estate Trustees;
- Assisting Estate Trustees with Applications to Pass Estate Accounts when required
Estate Litigation:
- Representing Estate Trustees and Beneficiaries in Will challenges, Will interpretations, and contested Passing of Estate Accounts
- Dependant Support Proceedings
- Guardianship: Court Applications for Guardian of Property and Guardian of Person
- Walker, Head’s Wills and Estates Department is able to provide clients with assistance both in pre-death planning and after-death administration and conflict resolution.
- The Estate Planning team offers expertise with a number of different planning options.
- The Estate Administration and Litigation department is experienced in offering assistance in post-death matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
