Michael is the senior partner at Walker, Head and one of its founding partners. He is also the Chair
of the firm’s Civil Litigation Group. Michael’s areas of practice include personal injury, professional negligence, class actions, civil litigation and employment law.
Michael has extensive experience in personal injury litigation with particular emphasis on serious motor vehicle collisions, catastrophic injuries, brain injuries and spinal cord injuries.
Many lawyers throughout Ontario retain Michael to assist them with their complicated files. Michael has also been
retained by The Law Society of Upper Canada to provide his professional opinion and expertise in matters relating to serious injury litigation.
Michael is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. He is also named as one of the best lawyers in
Canada in the area of Personal Injury Litigation, by The Best Lawyers in Canada publication in 2007.
Michael served as President of The Advocates’ Society of Ontario and remains an active member. He is a leading member of the litigation Bar
in Ontario, has taught trial advocacy and participates in many continuing legal education programs. He has also served as President of the
Head Injury Association of Durham and the Ajax-Pickering United Way.
Michael has built his expertise and reputation over the past 30 years by handling an extremely busy litigation practice and supervising an exceptional team of lawyers and support staff.
