Paul is a member of the firm’s Business Law Group and Real Estate and Municipal Law Group.
As a part of Paul’s real estate practice, he works in both residential and commercial real estate.
As part of Paul’s business law practice, Paul advises corporations, partnership and sole proprietors on a variety of matters relating to their business. Paul has comprehensive knowledge and experience with a several corporate matters including: incorporations, shareholders agreements, buying and selling businesses, franchise agreements, technology agreements, commercial leases, and shareholder and partnership disputes.
Residential Real Estate
Paul has extensive experience in all areas of residential real estate including: preparing and negotiating agreements of purchase and sale and completing transactions representing both buyers and sellers, completing conventional mortgages, private mortgages and lines of credit, as well as, obtaining title insurance.
Commercial Real Estate
Paul’s practice within commercial real estate includes: negotiating and buying and selling commercial properties, conducting title searches and required due diligence, in addition to, completing corporate financing on behalf of borrowers and major banks.
Paul acts as counsel for various major banks in connection with commercial financing transactions.
Paul is active throughout his community wherein he is the current Chair for the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade. He served as the 2014 President of the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade, when at that time, he was the youngest person to serve as President in the board’s 60 year history. Paul also sits as a member of the Ontario Power Generation Technical Advisory Committee for OPG’s Repurposing of the Pickering Nuclear Power Plant. Paul served as a member of Durham Region Transit Advisory Committee from 2007-2014. Paul is also a member of the Durham Region Home Builders Association.
